Before you attempt to setup your email client, you must have created an email account within you cPanel web hosting account. Below, we have detailed this process, step by step.
- Login to your cPanel web hosting account
- Click on the "Email Accounts" icon under the "Mail" section
- Fill in the email address and password boxes, then set a "Quota" (the size) for the mailbox
Now that you have created an email account you are able to link it up to email client. You will need to use your specific server settings when setting up your email account with an email client, these settings can be found by clicking on "More" next to the email address you've created in cPanel and then by clicking "Configure Email Client".
