Installing an SSL Certificate: Oracle Wallet Manager

1. Import Root & Intermediate Certificates into Oracle Wallet Manager (OWM).

Please Note: This must be done BEFORE the end entity/domain certificate.

a. Select Operations > Import Trusted Certificate from the Menu Bar.
b. Choose the Select a file that contains the certificate option.
c. Browse to and select the Root CA file. Please Note: In most cases this will be AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt.
d. Click OK

2. Import the SSL (end entity/domain) certificate.

a. Select Operations > Import User Certificate from the Menu Bar.
b. Choose the Select a file that contains the certificate option.
c. Browse to and select your certificate. Please Note: In most cases this will be yourDomain.crt
d. Click OK.
e. You will now find that the certificate node in the navigation pane changes from the Certificate: [Requested] to Certificate: [Ready]. Now the wallet with a certificate is ready to use for SSL.
f. Save the wallet.
