From time to time, you may receive notice that your card was declined which can be for many reasons and not necessarily something to worry about.
99% of payment failures are related to the address checks. Often card issuers will use a home address of the card holder for businesses and this may not match the statement address. Please ensure you try all possible addresses.
The most probable reasons for your card to not be authorised are:
- Expired card
- Insufficient funds
- Mis-matched address (AVS) or security code (CVC)
- Security marker
If you have checked your card details and do have sufficient cleared funds, please also check that the address we hold on file, matches that at your card issuer.
Should you still not be able to make payment with your card, we suggest that you contact your card issuer to ensure that there are no security markers on your account.
