When you are sending or receiving an email and your email client has a connectivity error, there isn't many things that it could be. Below, we have listed the most common reasons:
- A recent firewall update
- A recent antivirus update
- A network problem within your ISP
- A setting has changed on your email account
Try disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again. If this fails try to login to your emails via webmail, if you can and they're working fine it's more than likely an issue with your mail client.
